The season of Fall brings so many activities that you might be able to do in other seasons, but doing them in the Fall makes it so much sweeter. I have put together a Fall Bucket List with my favorite activities, AND if you live in the Northwest Arkansas area, suggestions of where to do them!
- Pumpkin Patch – By far my favorite pumpkin patch in the area is the Ozark Corn Maze. They have pumpkins, a corn maze (Duh), a petting zoo, and so many more fun activities! You could spend a couple of hours there easy!
- Football Game – In Arkansas, our main college team is the Razorbacks, but they aren’t really very good this year. The plus side is there are many high school teams around the state that are very entertaining to watch!
- Fall Festivals – Living in a state with so many small towns, we have lots of unique festivals. Check out the list below to check them out! d
- Bikes, Blues, and BBQ – Fayetteville, AR
- Grape Festival – Tontitown, AR
- Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair – Fort Smith, AR
- Kings Biscuit Blues Festival – Helena, AR
- Hillberry: The Harvest Moon – Eureka Springs, AR
- Hot Springs Music Festival – Hot Springs, AR
- Arkansas State Fair – Little Rock, AR
- MusicFest – El Dorado, AR
- World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest – Stuttgart, AR
- Carve Pumpkins – Get one of those kits at your local Wal-Mart, trace your design and start carving! Oh and don’t forget to save the seeds to cook in the oven for a snack later!
- Watch Scary Movies – When I think of scary I am thinking more so Hocus Pocus not The Woman In Black. BUT you can always google some good scary movies!
- Go On A Hay Ride – Most of the time if you find a pumpkin patch you will also find a hayride! Check out the Ozark Corn Maze and you can kill two items on the list at once!
- Hang Out By A Campfire – The Fall is perfect for camping! Arkansas has so many great camping spots, but be sure to reserve your spot ahead of time! Check out my favorite spots in the list below.
- Roast S’mores – The whole reason to go camping is so that you can make s’mores around the campfire and tell funny ghost stories! So while you are camping be sure to pack your s’more ingredients!
- Go Hiking – Arkansas is covered in beautiful trails that cover the entire state. The great thing about these trails is that they normally have camping grounds somewhere nearby too so you can make a weekend out of it. OR if you are just looking for a day trip there is normally a trail close enough that you can do that too.
No matter what you decide to do this Fall I hope that it brings you joy and lasting memories with the ones you love!
