At the end of last year, I was thinking about my hobbies and what I liked to do, and honestly, I couldn’t remember! This blog is a huge hobby of mine. I started it in January 2015, and have used it as a creative outlet all of these years. When I graduated from high school, I had lots of hobbies. I used to go to the gym every day, sometimes twice. I painted, sometimes for school, sometimes for fun. Binge-watched Netflix shows.. lol I still do from time to time. But out of everything that I did, I used to read the most. I used to read books all the time and I loved them!

When I was in college I stopped reading for fun, working out as much and I stopped watching Netflix. For the most part, my life started to only consist of work, school, and my sorority. At the end of last year, I noticed that after college, I didn’t pick any of my hobbies back up. I started watching more Netflix but that was pretty much it! So this year my goal was to read more! So reading I have done!

I wanted to share all of the books that I have read and my thoughts on them so far this year! So let’s get started!

The Tattooist of Auschwitz

I absolutely loved this story. This book is based on a true story and honestly it was so so good. The best way to describe it is a love story. Although they were in the worst place imaginable, they found love. Love is in the darkest places.

Commonwealth

This book was…well interesting. It was very hard for me to follow until the end because it kept flashing back in time, and it wouldn’t give you a warning at all. Throughout the whole book, I wasn’t sure what the actual story line was. To be honest, I still don’t. But overall I didn’t hate it.

The Flight Attendant

This book started slow, but boy did it end fast! It took a couple of chapters to really get into this one, but once I did, it was full of suspense! If you love slightly suspenseful mystery stories this is a good read!

Behind Closed Doors

Okay, this has been my favorite book so far!! I couldn’t put it down for about 2 days and I even woke up early before work to read it one day. It is full suspense. I couldn’t wait to finish it! If you are into suspense books this is most definitely your book!!

Hopefully I will be able to read some more books soon. I started another one recently, but I am running low on free time here lately so I haven’t made a huge dent in it yet.

Thanks for reading another one of my posts! Be sure to tune in for the next one!
