Today I am thankful for lazy Saturdays. Weekends for most are frantic and planned out with errands and people to see. Sometimes, if we are extremely lucky, we get a lazy Saturday. A Saturday without plans, errands, or really anything to do. To be able to sit in peace and sleep or not sleep, watch a movie or not watch a movie, really you can do anything you want.

There is a sort of beauty in that, being without plans, it is actually sometimes a good feeling to be forgotten. When I say being forgotten I mean really to not be included. Sometimes we hope that people won’t include us so that we don’t have to make up an excuse not to go, to have a lazy weekend. Other times when we don’t want to be lazy we might get upset about not being included. It is always funny how that happens.

I think the satisfaction of being alone for a complete day comes from the part of me that is introverted. I think we all are somewhat introverted, some more than others. But, none the less we all need some me time.

Today and always I am thankful for the lazy Saturdays that I get and the chance to be truly lazy.
