Thanks for joining me again for another day of 21 Days of Thankfulness. Today I wanted to talk about how I am thankful for my health.

I believe that being healthy has to be one of the most underappreciated things on the planet. There are so many people in hospitals, nursing homes, or even other countries that would do anything to just be healthy. I feel like those that are healthy walk around every day expecting it to always be that way. What people don’t realize is that your health can change with one diagnosis and just like that your life could be changed forever.

I am thankful that I have my health, but I also realize when others don’t. I think that that being thankful for something, can also make you more aware. Being aware that not everyone has a healthy body, I try to help them in any way that I can if asked. If someone in my family has trouble walking down the stairs, I lend a supportive arm. If someone is trying to cross the road on a crosswalk, I say a prayer and give them grace instead of impatientness. Not every time does helping someone else require money. Sometimes, all that is required is an encouraging smile.

I encourage you that are also healthy to not only be thankful but also say a prayer today and every day for those that aren’t. You never know if one day someone will be praying for you.
