In the Fall, I am thankful for the colorful leaves. When I was younger, I remember someone telling me that God was the best artist that there has ever been. When I see the leaves changing in the Fall I couldn’t agree more.

The leaves make me feel like a little kid again. When I see them in the yard I want to rake them all up and jump on in just like old times. I think there is something satisfying about the times you are able to embrace your inner child as an adult. I feel like when we get older we get serious and forget to laugh or smile. We forget to be like a duck, as Ryder says, and to let the bad things just roll off our feathers.

I am thankful for Fall leaves because they remind me that God is far greater than I could ever imagine. I also love them because they remind me that no matter how old you are there is always a child in all of us.
